In a cost-cutting move, the New England Patriots have parted ways with longtime quarterback Tom Brady, ESPN’s Ian Rappaport has reported. The team will receive Oakland’s 2014 and 2015 2nd round picks and an undisclosed pick in 2014.
“We want to thank Tom for all he’s given to the team and the city of Boston,” said Patriots owner Robert Kraft. “And if Adriel believes this shit for one second, I’ll be shocked… but I had to give it a shot.”
